okay sixth grade – all five of you – back to blogging:)
“theft of memory” – brilliant book by an education guy – he’s written a ton of books over the year – this one, his most personal about his father’s fight with alzheimer’s – the book made me miss my grandparents – i thought of lending it to my mother and decided it was better to not – i guess just one thought to share, we seem very okay with doctor slip-ups with older people – doctor’s can misdiagnose and we’re like “well, they had to die of something…” and be okay with that – instead of maybe pushing back harder – like we would if a healthy small child was misdiagnosed
“the fear project” – yuck – i thought the book was going to be about running – instead it was about surfing – for a while – then about eastern meditation – for a while – and then about how when you’re an old single guy in your 30s, you just give up and BOOM!!! you meet the perfect woman that let’s you take on the biggest fear of all – having a kid – whatever…
“gilead” – so after years, i finally read this book – it had received good reviews – probably in hindsight too many good reviews b/c i began to suspect the book was like a hallmark movie – and i abandoned the thought of reading it – but years later and two more books related to it later , i gave in – and it was good – it didn’t go where i thought it would – thankfully – so i did enjoy it – which is very rare for me – and i passed it along to my mom – way better for her to read than anything i’ve read in a while

Congrats on your 3rd place finish. We aren’t sure how you lost to Chelsea, but losing to Oak Mountain is understandable. In our 6th grade year, we lost to them by 235 (If you are wondering hiw that is possible, challenge us to a practice match, then you will find out how).

“Book of Mordred:Kiera”;Line:’bullying was one thing.Calling her a witch was much, much more dangerous.’
Commentary: the boys are bullying kiera and actually attempting to murder her. the whole town is under the assumption that alayna and kiera are evil because they know magic. what i find dumb is that these boys bully her but if she was a witch like they say she is she would just use her magic on them. but kiera doesnt due to the fact that she doesnt know much magic and that she is mostly passive.

Challenge Time: for those of you whom are irritated by my supposed bad grammar or if you want to help destroy my empire, Monday through Wednesday you can spot bad grammar for points that will earn you prizes. for every bit of bad grammar you find** in my journals you get one point*. if you find 5 bits (what i am now calling examples of bad grammar) or more you get 5 extra points added to the total points for that day (ex. if you find 6 bits you get 11 bit points). This challenge begins tomorrow .
*only one bit point per noticed bit if multiple people notice same bit only one bit point is awarded
**only awarded for journal entries monday through wednesday and not to random comments
Each day before I do my journal i will announce yesterdays big winner. if 40 points are reached in 6 weeks the Tacopire will shut down for 4 weeks. if 50+ points are reached in 8 weeks then tacopire will shut down for 2 months*.

Repo made it clear to Cal that he needed to leave, because wherever Cal went the cops followed him.
Cal packed up his few things and headed out but Repo stopped him said goodbye and good luck on the run as a fugitive, then handed Cal a paper bag and Cal left. Cal looked both ways to see if any cops were out then, there were none. So he crept to the other side of the lot just to be safe. Then Cal turned around and looked at the hide out and thought about how clever Repo was and hoped that he would never get caught and no cop would ever find the hide out. Then turned back around and headed off with his head low t the ground…. 🙁

Commentary: This book is heating up! Deep, deep reading today. Bayard killed the boys that were bullying Kiera. Then Kiera finds out (some of) the truth about Halbert. For some reason Bayard is constantly visiting Kiera. Mordred has pretty much given up on everyone. This is all key stuff. I think the book is just gonna keep getting better.

Cal hurried off to the streets and found a Café, and he sat down. Then he took out his phone and started to text Boges and he saw 4 text from him. They said, “Hey where are you?!” , “Dude, texts me you can trust me!” , “Hey! I heard about the lion at the zoo…!” , “Dude don’t leave me hanging!! Text me.”, and “Getting worried!” Then Cal’s phone died. He hurried and plugged his phone in, then stopped and smiled at the thought that no one could find Boges’s new phone. But then texted him back.

Then a waitress walked over and asked if he needed anything, but then he lied and said he was waiting for friends, to come. But then he picked up a news paper to act like he was waiting. But on the cover page it was a picture of him that said “wanted”. Not being able to look at it he quickly turned the page and he saw his sister. With tubes connected all over her. Then he thought about how when she woke up they would tell her that HE shot Rafe and tried to kill her. Then there was a quote that Rafe said in the paper. “If you love your sister you will come home…”

I’ve just gotten done with american sniper, but i still really want to watch the movie so we may one day. Right now i’m reading soldier x its about a young boy of the age of sixteen and hes forced to join the german army in order to save his parents from having to enter, but he is valuable to the army because he speaks russian because hes half russian and in his household both german and russian are spoken fluently.Hes valuable because they are facing the russians and if they get any pieces of maps or letters or anything similar then he can translate and they can hopefully use it to their advantage against the soviets. Right now in the book where i’m at hes loading artillery, bombs, and ammunition into trucks so that they and the stuff can hopefully be transported to the battlefield.

I am reading a book on a kid who is a fantasy football king. When and NFL finally returns to Los Angeles he becomes apart of this struggling team and tries to help the team out and get some players who could lead them to a championship. He takes a risk on a veteran in the league and he hopes it will pay off.

Most teams usually have 1 good player that gets 90% of their points. And that one person changes the game. I believe that will happen to Oak Mountain in the varsity finals. Their top scorer will not be there for the finals. On the bright side, teams are fair now.
