Students completed their Elements Cards (coloring & insert information) and prepared to insert them onto the Periodic Table set up on the Whiteboard in the room.
Students wrote out blocks of their periodic table on 1/4 sheets of paper to devise their own Periodic Table of Elements. They used the laptops and internet to determine the traits and characteristics of their given elements.
Students performed a Lab Activity that allowed a group of items in a basket to be grouped according to their characteristics. The concept of grouping and using the characteristics of the elements/items which led to the Periodic Table development are emphasized.
