Students took the Weathering, Soil, and Mass Movements Chapter Assessment and reviewed the 5.2 & 5.3 Worksheets.

We went over the answers to the Chapter Assessment, took the Weathering, Soil, and Mass Movements Vocabulary Test, reviewed its answers and then took the Chapter Test.

Students stated the Kinetic Theory and its 3 parts as well as the descriptions of the 4 states of matter with examples.

Students learned the effect of energy on the states of matter. We also learned the 6 states of matter changes. They must have a calculator tomorrow.

We continued the notes on the types of mass movements and their effects on the earth.
Today, the students completed the Solid, Liquid, and Gas Vocabulary in class.
The MMS Bulldog Boy's were again victorious on the basketball court as the Calera Eagles failed to halt the boys. The effort was tremendous and displayed a total team effort in the weeks preparation. Go DAWGS!!! Come out and support us on Monday as the Shelby County Wildcats come calling @ MHS gym. Game times start at 5pm.

Today we continued the notes on the Mass Movements and Erosion in the current chapter. Notes were taken and discussed from the Powerpoint presentations.
Today, we reviewed the 3 worksheets that were done yesterday in class and for homework. (Crossword Puzzle, SeeknFind, and Chapter Review) Then we took the Chapter's Vocabulary Test and The Chapter Test on Scantron. It was a full day of material and work.
