Sedimentary Rocks
We discussed the characteristics of Sedimentary rocks and how they compare with the Igneous Rocks. Students were told to have colored pencils or markers for class tomorrow.
Temperature Conversions
Today, we took the Temperature Conversions Test and will finish the Measurement Review Questions

Rocks
Students had a poptest on Rocks first. Then we continued the notes on Igneous Rocks learning the 4 types of texture and 2 types of composition as well as examples of extrusive and intrusive igneous rocks. They were shown examples of both types of rocks.
Temperature Conversions
Students had a Temperature Formula Poptest, then finished a Temperature Conversions Table Worksheet for homework. It is due tomorrow before the 8:40 bell. There will also be a test on Temperature Conversions Tomorrow.

Rocks
Today, students took notes on the Rocks Chapter. They learned the 3 major types of rocks and how they are formed. They also saw how the rock cycle creates and changes rocks. We finished talking about the 2 types of igneous rocks.
Temperature Conversions
Today, we reviewed the formulas for converting amongst the Celsius, Kelvin and Fahrenheit scales. We began the Temperature Conversions WS. A Test on Temperature Conversions is scheduled for Wednesday.
