Students were taught how to calculate their grades on the Grade Sheet. They were also given a grade sheet and this nine-weeks grades so far.
Grade Calculation
Students were given a grade sheet to calculate their grades as papers are returned. A practice grade sheet was covered during class, then papers returned. Afterwards, they began the Introduction to Earth Science Vocabulary.
Lab Safety
Students began and completed the Lab Safety Review Questions Worksheet (30pts). We also reviewed the answers to the Using Your Text WS. They were also given a lab contract to take home and return on Monday signed by a parent.
MMS Football, 2013
The MMS Bulldogs are preparing to face three different middle school programs (Holtville, Elmore County, and another) in a jamboree at Holtville HS on Saturday morning. Come out and support the Bull PUPS!!!
Today, we took the Classroom Rules test (20pts). Then, we proved that we can use the Index, Glossary and Table of Contents by finishing the "Using Your Textbook" worksheet (44 pts)
Textbook Use
Today, we are showing that we know how to use the Glossary, Index, and Table of Contents in our textbook. We took our Classroom Rules test (20 pts) and began our "Using Your Textbook" Worksheet (40 pts). The worksheet was due before the end of 7th period.

We went over the Rules & Regulations for class as well as procedures for my class.
Tuesday – Each class completed a separate page in the County Code of Conduct.
Wednesday – We completed the discussion of the syllabus, rules and procedures of my class. All Students will have a Rules and Procedures test tomorrow. Textbooks were also issued today.

2013-14 MMS Basketball Team
Congratulations to all the members of the 2013-14 MMS Boys Basketball team. The roster should be up by 2pm in Coach Richards/Jetts office door. Thanks to all those who tried out and let's get ready to go to work. 1st workouts begin June 4, @ 8am in the MMS weightroom.
Semester Exams
1st Period took their 2nd Sem. Exams today. The exam covered information on Elements & Properties, Chemical Bonding, Chemical Reactions, Motion, Forces, Energy, Thermal Energy, Work & Machines, Electricity and Radioactivity. The other classes will begin their exams on Monday. Each class was responsible for completing a 3rd Qtr & 4th Qtr Review Crossword Puzzle and reviewing the Review Guide. Study and Good luck!!!
