THERMAL ENERGY
We finished the Thermal Energy powerpoint, had the Thermal energy Vocabulary Test, completed the Thermal Energy Chapter Review and had the Energy Crossword Puzzle done today. Those who did not finish the Ch. Review and Crossword Puzzle were told to finish it for homework. The Thermal Energy Chapter TEST will be tomororrow.
Third Period did not get to finish their notes due to the assembly on Texting and Driving as well as DUI given by State Trooper Summerlin. It should have gotten the students attention in preparation for the prom to make good choices if you are attending the prom. The MESSAGE: Texting and driving don't mix ans well as Drinking and Driving. Two very attentive videos were shown to help convince students about Texting & Driving.
Summer Work Outs
Summer work out dates will be following the football weight training sessions as with last year. Be on the lookout for the dates coming soon. The workout dates for basketball will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays again.
MMS Spring Training, Day 2

We're finishing the Thermal Energy (Heat) chapter and having our Vocabulary Test on Thermal Energy today. We also get to begin the Chapter Review on Thermal Energy. Most students will have it for homework so they will study for the Chapter Test on Thermal Energy tomorrow.
MMS FOOTBALL
MMS football spring training began yesterday at MMS. Spring Training will continue through Thursday from 3-5pm daily. All players who plan to be a MMS Bulldog ARE expected to attend spring training workouts each day to prepare for the coming 2012 Football season. Hard work and discipline only give you a chance to be suuccessful and that's what we as Coaches want. Work hard Bulldog Pups so you can become strong, tough Bulldogs. Summer workout plans will be given later in the week. LEAVE A MARK PUPS!!
BASKETBALL TEAM
The Montevallo Middle School Basketball Team for 2012-13 was selected and posted at MMS by Coach McMahon @ MMS. The MHS team was also selected and posted at MHS in the Athletic Hall. Congratulations to all players who made the team. They have a loaded summer with lots of work to prepare for the coming season. Remember Bulldogs always LEAVE A MARK!!!!
HEAT LOST/GAINED
Students finished the heat lost/gained word problem and finished the discussions on Thermal Energy. The Heat Lost/Gained Worksheet was due for homework if not finished in class. There will be a Thermal Energy Vocabulary Test on Wednesday and chpater Test on Thermal Energy on Thursday of this week.
