To qualify for the “Fast Pass” opportunity at summer registration, please be advised that to qualify, you must satisfy these requirements:
1. Pre-pay one of the payment options as outlined on the fee sheet that accompanied pre- registration information on Wednesday, May 1, 2019
Payments may also be made on GoFan. https://gofan.co/app/events/55080
2. Complete online registration using Shelby County Schools S.C.O.R.E. website https://score.shelbyed.k12.al.us/login by June 28, 2019 using the Access Code that was sent with the registration packet.
3. Verify your residence during the week of July 8-12 by bringing your photo ID and two qualifying residency documents to the front office. Office hours are 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. These items can serve as proof of residency:
* Property Deed – parent/legal guardian must reside full time in the residence.
* 2018 Property Tax Record – most recent current year tax record which indicates your primary residence.
* Apartment Lease – at the minimum, the parent/legal guardian should be listed as occupant.
* Recent Mortgage Statement – (June/July) parent/legal guardian must reside full time in the residence.
* Recent Utilities – June or July power, water, gas, or garbage bill listed in the name of the parent/legal guardian with service address listed.
Parents/legal guardians who meet the above requirements will be issued a “fast pass” and will enter through the “Fast Pass” entrance at summer registration. Summer registration dates are:
Thursday, July 18 – 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tuesday, July 23 – 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 25 – 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Students will not be able to attend class on the first day, August 8, until registration for 2019-20 enrollment is complete.
If you know your child is not returning to OMMS, please contact our registrar, Grivera@shelbyed.org so that records can be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, the final report card will be mailed to the address of record on May 24th.
