OMMS Open House Information
Dear Parents:
We are excited to welcome our parents back for OMMS’s first Open House/Parent Nights since 2019. Please set aside plans to meet the teachers and learn about the goals for the school year. Here are the details:
Monday, August 22nd from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. — Sixth Grade Open House
We will begin at 6:00 p.m. Parents will report directly to their student’s 1st period class and follow their child’s schedule, accordingly. This is a great chance to be introduced to teachers, spend time in each classroom, and maneuver the hallways during transitions from class to class.
Tuesday, August 23rd from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. — 7th & 8th Grade Open House
Parents will follow the same schedule as the 6th grade parents on the previous night.
Instructions to assist all parents:
Parking — Parents may park in front of the school or on either side of the school. Additional parking will be available in the grassy areas to the front and sides of the school. Shelby County Deputies will be on-site to direct traffic.
Building Entry — Please enter the building through the front doors (#1) or at the side doors (#2) nearest 119 on the OMES side of the building. Report to your child’s first period class immediately after entering the building.
