Spirit Day TomorrowTomorrow we will be on an afternoon pep rally schedule in order to take a student, faculty, and staff photo on the football field during advisory.  In addition, tomorrow will be a Red, White, and Blue Spirit Day with each grade level wearing the following colors:    Eighth Grade — Red; Seventh Grade — White; and Sixth Grade — Blue.

7th and 8th graders:  Are you interested in music and dance? Are you creative and competitive? If you said yes to either of these questions, you should audition for Winter Guard! Winter Guard is a competitive performance group that incorporates dance, flags, and other equipment to put on a show. If you are interested in learning more about Winter Guard, an interest meeting will be held in the OMMS cafeteria on Tuesday, September 28th at 6 pm. If you have any questions, come see Ms. Marzullo in G-6. Tryouts will be held October 18th-21st at Oak Mountain High School in the cafeteria.

Any 7th-8th grade student with competitive swim experience interested in joining the OMHS Swim Team needs to contact Ms. Hubbard at khubbard@shelbyed.org. The Sectionals Meet will be held in November and students will need to have a current physical on file as well as other paperwork on Dragonfly.
