Students took the Chemical Reactions Chapter Test (100 pts) and began the Mole Voc. (18 pts). They were reminded to dress appropriately for the Chemical Reactions Lab on Monday and Tuesday.

Students completed the Chemical Reactions Chapter Assessment (100pts). What was not finished in class was taken home for homework. Students were reminded of the Chemical Reactions Chapter Test tomorrow. They were also reminded of how to dress for the Chemical Reactions labs on Monday and Tuesday.
Efficiency
Students learned about Efficiency of machines and how to calculate efficiency. We began the Efficiency WPWS (30 pts) and will finish the WS in class tomorrow.

Students continued to finish the Work Lecture WS and were introduced to the concept of Mechanical Advantage. They finished class by calculating Mechanical Advantage on a Word Problem WS (20 pts)

Students were introduced to the concept of Power in Physics and then were allowed to calculate Power on a Word Problem WS (20 pts).

Students took the Chemical Reactions Voc. Test (44 pts) and began the Chemical Reactions Chapter Assessment. The Chapter Test on Chemical Reactions will be on Friday.
Work
Work and how physicists calculate work was the topic of class. Students then worked a Work Word Problem WS ( 20 pts).
Chemical Reactions
We completed the notes on Chemical Reactions talking about Reactions in aqueous solutions, reactions that produce precipitates, and reactions that produce water. They were given the Chemical Reactions Word Search for homework.
