OMHS Visual Ensemble Interest Meeting – Thursday, February 25 @ 6:00 pm – OMHS Band Room

Do you have an 8th grade student interested in trying out for color guard, majorettes, or dance team at Oak Mountain High School? If so, please make plans to attend the OMHS Visual Ensemble interest meeting on 2/25 @ 6:00 pm in the high school band room. The high school band room is located in the back, right corner of the high school campus and can be accessed through door 11.

Don’t play an instrument but still want to be a part of the award-winning Spirit of Cahaba Marching Band? We welcome students of all ability levels! Whether it’s spinning flags, twirling batons, or dancing, the OMHS Visual Ensemble offers a great opportunity to meet new friends, perform at all OMHS football games, and compete with other visual ensembles in the region.  At the meeting, we’ll share important information about the audition process and clinics to teach the necessary skills, collect contact information, and talk about the ins and outs of the performing arts at OMHS. Don’t miss it!

OMHS Meeting for Rising 9th Grade Band Students

Rising 9th grade band members and their parents are encouraged to attend a meeting on Monday, February 22 @ 6:00 pm in the high school band room.  Information will be shared about scheduling, upcoming dates, and frequently asked questions.  Didn’t play in the band in middle school but interested in starting an instrument at OMHS? No worries – we encourage you to attend as well!  The high school band room is located in the back, right corner of the high school campus.  Enter the building at door 11.
