“6 amendments” – by former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens – who, by the way, is like 90 years old now – but he wrote another book – this one, rather short – six amendments congress should pass to touch up the Constitution – clear things up so that judges don’t have to haphazardly interpret – i enjoyed the book – thoroughly – i’m a law geek like that – i guess the sad part was twofold – one, that congress won’t do anything with the amendments – two, that he wrote the book b/c of what happened in Newtown, Conn., two years ago – 20-plus elem kids die in a shooting and nothing much changes – that still saddens me – greatly
“factory man” – recommended from the NY Times top 100 list – story of a factory – a furniture factory – and its generations – including a current guy that’s staved offshore sending – saved jobs – practically saved the town he was operating in – just a wonderful book about the historical – and personal – effects that industry has – by the way, i don’t think i’ll ever buy from Rooms 2 Go after reading this book

Line: Did you have any relatives that were on the Titanic
Commentary: There is a girl named Callie and she is at a Titanic exhibit with her teachers and friends. She is looking at a wall of pictures when she notices the picture above her looks exactly like her. Callie stares at the picture for a while and is frightened by it. Then her friend asks “That picture looks a lot like you Cal. Did you have any relatives that were on the Titanic?” Callie says “No. I don’t think so. Nobody said that I had a family member on the Titanic.”
Line: The majestic Titanic was going down
Commentary: Callie and her classmates are at a Titanic exhibit. They are with a tour guide watching a video that somebody took the day the Titanic sunk. The video is talking about all of the first, second, and third class passengers. The first class passengers got the best of all the classes. They got luxury baths, maids, and so much more. The other classes hardly got anything. Then people here loud noises outside of their rooms. The crew hurries and gives everyone a life vest. Everyone hurries to a life boat. At 11:40pm the majestic Titanic was going down and at 2:10am it sank.
Creative:
A few weeks ago, I went to a Titanic exhibit in Tennessee. My friend wanted me to take pictures of it for her. While I was taking pictures, an alarm on an exhibit went off. Security came to the exhibit and asked who had set it off. As they said that, everybody stared at them in disbelief. I realized that it wasn’t my phone that set it off. As security showed up, someone hurried quickly to another room. Security said phones can’t set the alarm off. I told security I saw somebody hurrying to another room wearing an evening gown and a fancy hat. They were trying to break into the exhibit that had the heart of the ocean diamond necklace from the actual Titanic that Margaret Brown used to wear. Security hurried to the other room to find that nobody was there and a replica bracelet made out of real diamonds was missing. The necklace was still there, but the bracelet was missing. It turns out that it was the ghost of Margaret Brown trying to get her jewelry back!
Line- It was the really hairy family… Oh no..
Commentary-Greg went to the waterpark on a family trip and his family lost their hotel key and so greg had to sneek into the hairy families hotel room and he got caught and they ran out with the key and drove away and at a stoplight the hairy family was next to them and so they got chased but so far thev have made i out alive…. for right now.
Ok, so heres’s a creative to finish out the week. I’ve read but I haven’t gotten to anything blog-worthy. Here’s a poem.
Destiny

Courage- is the ability and willingness to confront strong emotions or the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition shame, scandle , or discouragement.
It takes courage to stand up and speak up for something that’s happening that’s not right or for any other reason, but it takes real courage to be quite and listen to what other people have to say.

Think of it like this if you have to kids sitting together and their taking a test and they get the exact same answers someone isn’t thinking. If people are all coming up with the same ideas then someone isn’t trying thinking of something original.

This sentence’s subject is Prim and the verb following the subject is named. there is also another subject verb pair which is the subject, coat and the verb following the subject, matched. This sentence is referring to Prim and her cat buttercup who are laying in bed with their mother on the day of the reaping.
Line:
I swing my legs off the bed and slide into my hunting boots.
Commentary:This sentences subject is I and the verb following is swing. This sentence is referring to when Katniss gets up to go hunting in the morning before the reaping.
Line:
Who would fill those mouths that are always asking for more?
Commentary:
This sentence’s subject is mouths and the verb following is asking. This sentence is referring to when Gale and Katniss are talking about running away but then they remember that they have Prim and their other siblings.
Line:
But at least two families will pull their shutters, lock their doors, and try to figure out how they will survive the painful weeks to come.
Commentary:
The sentence’s subject is families and the verb following is pull. The other subject verb pairs are

I am reading middle school get me out of here. I chose this line because he is going in the middle school and he had to move from his hometown. But after he moves to his new town middle school after he moves he likes it because there’s a cute girl. Something like you racer mayfield right?

I chose this line because at first he like his new middle school but whenever his plan that didn’t work he hated it. Trying to get that cute girl that I was talking about earlier to date him but the plan didn’t work because she said that he was ugly.
Creative
Everybody got up and ran everywhere and Jalyn, Alexa, Cameron, and Jordan all jumped into the pit and just had a fun time! They all dug to the bottom of the pit so they could jump on the trampoline and they wouldn’t have to wait in line. After they did that they got out and got all the blocks back in the pit so it didn’t look like they made the hole.
After they did that they went and played ships and sailors. Alexa won a round. Cameron won a round. Jalyn won a round and so did Jordan. Then they played mother may I and they kept forgetting to say mother may I and had to start over and over again.
After a while they went to roast their hot dogs for dinner. Then all of them checked in with their parents make sure that they weren’t having the worst time of their life!
All the people there started to sing the sponge bob song ” the campfire song song”
” let’s gather round the campfire and sing our campfire song our CAMPFIRE SONG song and if you don’t think that we can sing it faster than your wrong but it will help if you just sing along bom bom bom… Campfire song ” and so on until they did it about 12000 times and it got really annoying.
They all played hide in go seek in the dark and of coarse they all hid in the bottom of the pit so nobody would every find them. Once they called game they said Alexa, Cameron, Jalyn, Jordan yall won, you can come out and get your new prize!
When the lights turn back on all of them came out and got the t shirts that they won. They all screamed and shouted that they loved it!
Everyone gathered around and watched this movie call the fault in our stars and it was a very sad movie. It was about this girl who had cancer and this guy who lost a leg and they are boyfriend and girlfriend and they go on this journey to an authors house so they could get answers about the book that he wrote.
After the movie they tried to talk Chrystal into making a movie about how something went lost and they went on this mission so they could find who it was and what they stole. In the end Chrystal ended up saying no because she didn’t want to wake up the ones that were already asleep. So then they asked if they could prank them. She finally said yes because she knew that they would just keep on bugging her about the things they want to do so.
Everyone decided to use whipped cream and a feather. They would put whipped cream in their hand and then put the feather up their nose and it would make them smear the whipped cream all over their face and they would wake up with a sticky face.
In the end the gang all stayed up all night and just talked about drama and school and stuff like that. In the morning everyone was wandering who had done the prank and they said ” not us we just washed ours up”
They tried to play it off and they did it pretty well we didn’t do it to two people so they would get blamed not Alexa and them.
Everyone had blueberry pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, or Reesie cup pancakes. And then to drink they had chocolate milk, strawberry milk, orange juice, and water.
Sorry about my creative being so long I really like writing
Ive read a little bit of origami yoda and so far in the story the people are making like a documentary of all the cases that origami helped them with and they are writing how origami yoda helped them or who they’ve seen helped or also just their opinion about him. One of the people that origami yoda helped, I can’t remember his name right now but he came into school with a wet spot on his jeans and he was about to be late or walk into class with what looked like a pee stain in front of everybody and all of the sudden Dwight, the one who made origami yoda comes out and tells him advice that he should wet all of his pants if he doesn’t want it to look like a pee stain and he did and nobody ever thought it was pee
