Cheer tryout packets and payments are due February 28, 2020.
Any 8th Grader interested in running for a 9th grade SGA officer or representative position should plan to pick up an application in A17. All applications are due by Friday, February 28th.
The mandatory meeting for any student interested in trying out for the OMHS Color Guard, Dance Team, or Majorettes will be Thursday, February 27th at 6:00pm in the OMHS Band Room. Interested students need to attend with a parent. If you have any questions about trying out, please emailĀ ksheffield@shelbyed.org.Any student auditioning for show choir must attend one of the mandatory choreography clinics either Monday, March 2 or Tuesday, March 3 after school from Ā 3:15-4:30. Students must also turn in their Audition Agreement Form and 2 Teacher Recommendation Forms before they will be allowed to audition.

If you are trying out for the 7th or 8th grade cheer squads, all of your paperwork and DragonFly MAX requirements need to be completed by this Friday, Feb. 28. If they are not completed you will be ineligible to tryout. If you have any questions, please see Coach Salmon/Coach Toretta.
OMHS Final Four basketball game field trip permission forms and money are due today by 3pm, no exceptions. All forms and payments should be turned in to PE.
Book Olympiad practices Tuesday ONLY this week. No practice on Thursday the 27th.
We are gearing up for March Madness in the library. Do you want to choose the best book in the library and possibly win candy, media money, or a gift card to Amazon, Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, etc? Join us for March Madness as we vote to see which book will win! See your ELA teacher, Mrs. Collins, or Mrs. Howton for the code to join in on the fun!

Our partnership allows for extremely targeted advertising to almost 1,100 students and their families! Registration for the Oak Mountain High School Color Run is now open at www.oakmountaincolorrun.com. The date is March 7 at Oak Mountain State Park. All proceeds will benefit the OāNeal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB. Help us pass the $100,000 mark raised by supporting and signing up this year!
