The OMMS Library will be hosting a Follett Book Fair October 16th-23rd. Traditional students will be visiting the fair with their ELA class. Phase 1 Community Service Group Applications. Making a difference begins with you! We are a community service group that meets after school once per month to help in our school and community. We will accept applications from past members and current 6th grade students. Due to Covid 19, we will have a smaller group this year. Applications may be picked up outside of A-19 (Mrs. Nobles) and returned there as well. Application deadline is Friday, October 23, 2020 with no exceptions.
Baseball Tryout Schedule: Thursday 10/22 4:00-6:00; Friday 10/23 4:00-6:00; Saturday 10/24 9:00-12:00; Sunday 10/25 1:30-4:30. Tryouts are at Oak Mountain High School. Basketball and wrestling team members should only attend the Saturday and Sunday sessions. All paperwork must be 100% complete in DragonFly to tryout.
Tryouts for the 2020-21 OMMS Tennis Team will be separated by boys and girls. The girls tryouts will be held Monday, October 26 at 4:00 at Inverness Racquet Club. The boys tryouts will be held Monday, November 2 at 4:00 at Inverness Racquet Club. Players interested in trying out should sign up with Coach Burdett in room B10. Each player trying out must bring a racquet and a can of 3 tennis balls labeled with the player’s initials in Sharpie. All students must have all paperwork 100% completed in DragonFly Max before they are eligible to tryout.
