- Bellringer #5: No Red Ink website: Alter vs. Altar
- Pass out persuasive letter instructions and discuss (assignment for tomorrow that those who are done early can start today)
- Finish Act 2 questions from pages 1181 and 1182. Do all but #6 on page 1182. Write question and answer. Highlight or underline the answer.
- If you did not complete the workbook pages from Act 1 (pg. 316 to 318) use this time to do that now.

- Write down the vocabulary from page 1186 (along with definition): contentious, deposition, imperceptible, anonymity, effrontery, incredulously
- Write down the following words and a short definition (found on page 1186 as well): Characterization, direct characterization, indirect characterization, irony, dramatic irony, verbal irony
- Write persuasive letter from one character to another character in the play, urging them to do something, using three main reasons why with examples or experience that can back it up. Due by end of class.
