Monday, Dec. 5

Today in class we read most of Act 3.  If your class did not finish it in class, you must finish reading Act 3 at home. Pay attention to the notes in your textbook. They are invaluable!  When you are finished reading Act 3, please do the questions on page 773, number 1-9.  Answers only.

Tomorrow, if your class has not viewed the video, I will catch you up with the video (parents, we are watching the 1968 version of R&J).

Wednesday is the test on Acts 2 and 3.  Please review.

Friday, Dec. 2

Today in Advanced English, we read more of Act III and added to the timeline.  We also began filling in the blanks for the strategic reading sheet for Act III.  There is no homework. We will finish Act III on Monday, so make sure you are here.  In third period, we went over their homework from last night (Act II questions) and viewed parts of the Romeo and Juliet video so they can get a better idea of what is going on in the play.

Thursday/Friday…November 17 and 18th

Yesterday we began reading Act I of Romeo and Juliet.  We got to the end of scene one.  There was no homework except for making sure that your typed short story is turned in by Friday (today). The short story is fifty points.  If you turn it in on Monday, it will be half credit—25/50.  I will not accept it after Monday at all.

Today, Friday, we read Act I, Scenes 2-3 and part of scene 4–ended at page 714 in the textbook.

Have a great weekend. See you Monday. No homework.
