Grading Procedures—Gold, Silver, Bronze
Gold=60% of your grade is made up of tests and typed essays
Silver=30% of your grade is made up of quizzes, informal essays, some extensive classwork, and folder checks
Bronze=10% of your grade is made up of daily work and homework
Late work is taken at any time, but it will be half credit automatically before grading.
What to bring to class:
- Textbook or novel we are reading
- Pen or pencil
- Highlighters
- 3 Ring Binder
- Composition Book

We will also be reading selections from the literature book and preparing ourselves for the English, Writing, and Reading portions of the ACT.
