Creative Kids!

My students wowed me with their TKAM projects. They had many choices when it came to what they wanted to do. Trent, above, made a Power Point.  Zach H. made a 3D map of Maycomb. Others made newspapers that detailed the events of the novel, CDs that had songs picked for the big moments in the novel, collages, poems, puppet shows…(as seen in previous posts), etc.  Of course, in addition to projects, students also wrote a five paragraph essay on To Kill a Mockingbird, using the MLA’s way of citing quotations from the novel. (The PEE Method—-also known as POINT (Make a point), give an Example, and Explain the significance of the quotation.)
