Today (Monday) in class, we read chapter 8 in Animal Farm and went over the vocabulary matching homework. I instructed students to change date for test from this Friday to next Wednesday. (First period had to read chapter 7 as they were behind.)
Tomorrow (Tuesday) we will do some review of who/whom, pronoun cases, and will review questions from chapters five through 7.
We will also do a little bit of fun creative writing for a break, using photographs in a series.
Wednesday we will read chapter 9 in Animal Farm.
Thursday we will review propaganda again, this time as a group activity. Then we will write a story in the same groups, using different photos in a series.
Friday we will read chapter 10 in Animal Farm, finishing the book.
Test and folder on Wednesday, February 27. Be ready! Will cover facts about Animal Farm, Pronoun Case/Who and Whom, propaganda types, and vocabulary.
