Tuesday, Sept. 7

Back from being out on Friday and of course, Labor Day…

Today in class we read “The Necklace” by Guy de Maupassant, and the homework is to finish the questions after the story in the lit book. 1-8.  Here’s a video I found that tells the story very well. And no, that is not me. 🙂 I have no idea who these people are.

Test Taken Today

The first major test was taken today.  It was on “The Lady or the Tiger?”, “The Most Dangerous Game”, and “The Cask of Amontillado.”  The students had an essay portion as well as a multiple choice portion. Since the essays took them awhile, they will have time to finish on Monday.  Please give me about a week (at the most) to get all 146 of them graded.

No weekend homework.

Bring composition book (journal)   on Monday.

Turn in your Table of Content items from your folder on Monday. It is worth major points.

If you haven’t brought in the $12.00 for your vocabulary book, bring it asap.

If you were absent today (Friday) please see me asap about making it up.

Thanks and have a great weekend!
