Brother Box is a non-profit organization that creates supplemental education programs to help Black boys feel seen, heard, and supported during the critical stages of their journeys to adulthood, motivating them to see the best in themselves and strive for a future they can be proud of. In doing so, we help them gain a greater sense of self and the values they care about — critical factors for completing their education, bringing their dreams to life, and positively impacting their communities. Since 2018 we’ve impacted more than 6,000 lives across the country, and in the past two years we’ve awarded $25,000 in college scholarships.
This year, Brother Box is excited to award seven, $2,500 one-time college scholarships to young Black men graduating in the state of Alabama. Applications are now open and can be accessed at brotherbox.org/scholarships. There, students will find the eligibility requirements and more information. Applications are due by March 31st.
