Jefferson State Community College Scholarship Opportunities

Jefferson State Community College is pleased to continue the tradition of providing scholarship opportunities to outstanding area high school students. High schools are able to nominate up to 2 students for your school – one student for an Academic Scholarship and one student for a Career Technical Scholarship. See the attached fact sheet for more information. 

In addition to the Counselor’s Scholarship, Jefferson State is pleased to offer the following scholarship opportunities to all graduating seniors.

Tuition and fees scholarship for up to 15 hours a semester for 6 semesters
Awarded to the top 35 students based on a combination of ACT score and GPA
Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of their 1st semester senior year
Have a 22 or higher composite ACT score. ACT scores  be on file with Admissions by the April  1st deadline
Applied for admission to Jefferson State for Fall 2022 prior to submitting the scholarship application
Submit a copy of their high school transcripts showing their grades and GPA after the first semester of their senior year
Students with a composite ACT score of 25 or higher will receive a scholarship for 9 credit hours per semester for up to 6 semesters.
Students with a composite ACT score of 22-24 will receive a scholarship for 6 credit hours per semester for up to 6 semesters.
Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of their 1st semester of senior year
Have a 22 or higher composite ACT score. ACT scores must be on file with Admissions by the June 1st deadline
Applied for admission to Jefferson State for Fall 2022 prior to submitting the scholarship application
Submit a copy of their high school transcripts showing their grades and GPA after the first semester of their senior year
Tuition and fees scholarship for up to 6 hours a semester for 6 semesters
Awarded to the top 50 students based on a combination of ACT score and GPA
Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of their 1st semester of senior year, including JSCC coursework
Have 20 or higher composite ACT score. ACT scores must be on file with Admissions by the June 1st deadline
Successfully completed 6 or more credit hours in the JSCC Dual Enrollment program
Applied for admission to Jefferson State for Fall 2022 prior to submitting the scholarship application
Submit a copy of their high school transcripts showing their grades and GPA after the first semester of their senior year
