The basic tenant for the YLDP is that a person’s character is more important than anything else in the ability to lead others and be a true leader. This program provides immense scholarship support for students with exceptional character and leadership abilities who might otherwise have been overlooked.  There is a mandatory orientation for the students is September 21 at Thompson High School.  Completed student applications received by September 13 will receive 5 bonus points for the program.

Students interested in representing SCHS in this program should pick up a YLDP packet in the guidance office.
