DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

*Character Education Theme for the Week: Empathy

*Announcements:

*No students should have cans or bottles of soda, Gatorade, or other drinks in your locker or in classes.  If we find any drinks, they will be confiscated and thrown away.  If you need water or Gatorade for an after school sports program, bring the unopened bottle of water or Gatorade to your coach the morning of practice or the game for safekeeping.

*This Friday will be LEAD.

*All math team members 6th, 7th, and 8th graders must return their permission forms to go to the county tournament on Wednesday by tomorrow to your coach.

*LOT members need to stay after school today for the field trip to the Police and Fire Stations.

*Track has a meet today after school in Pelham.

*Soccer has a game tomorrow against John Carroll at 5:30pm.

*Report cards will go home on Thursday.

*Battle of the Books will compete on Friday.

*There will be an 8th grade Parent Meeting on March 19th at 5:30pm to help plan the end of the year 8th grade activities.

*Yearbooks are on sale today for $30.00.

*Congratulations to the student of the week:  Gracie Patterson.  She was nominated by Mrs. Lewis.  Mrs. Lewis states that Gracie found something that belonged to an employee and returned it to the office.
