• The race for Faculty/Staff of the Month was very close and stayed tied for a while.  It looks as though we have our winner! Ms. Shelia Tripp is our Faculty/Staff winner for the month.  Information about Ms. Tripp: Sheila Tripp always tries to follow the Golden Rule by treating others the way she would want to be treated. “Now that I am older I’ve learned that we all bleed the same! I just learned that I can do whatever I am asked to do here because my Administration believes I am equipped enough to accomplish the assignment.”

• Red Ribbon Week Fact- Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program. Red Ribbon Week started after the death of Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, who in 1985 was brutally murdered by drug traffickers he was investigating

• Thursday, October 28th- “Drugs are Tacky- Tacky Tourist” Dress Up Day-Find the second Red Ribbon around the school building (one winner per grade level). Drug Awareness Trivia Fact 
• Friday, October, October 29th- “Drugs are Scary” Dress Up Day- Wear your Halloween Costume for $2. Fun Fact Friday Question pertaining to Drug Awareness.
