  • A huge Shout Out to our Weekly Scholar Anthony Ross for being a model student in his ELA class, and going above and beyond to assist students in completing their assignments as well.
  • Today’s  moment African American History is presented by Ana Karen.
  • Yearbooks are now on sale for the discounted price of $30.00. This price will only last through the month of April, so be sure to reserve your copy now. You can give cash or a check (made out to MMS) to Mrs. Harding. You can also pay online with a debit card by going to yearbookordercenter.com and using the school code 1564.   • All students that are interested in attending the first ever MMS swim program needs to turn in the permission form and $10 to Coach Jett and/or Coach Horton by today.  This swim class is designed for all levels from the non-swimmer to the expert. After final participant numbers are in , we will get a schedule out to the faculty/staff and students.
  • Talent show information is now available! Stop by the choir/band room to pick up one.
  • Any 8th graders that have not returned their course selection forms, needs to do so by March 1st.
  • We will rotate on Break Schedule today however, the bells will be turned off for testing.
  • Congrats to the girls soccer team for their win against Pelham last night, 2-0!

  • Congratulations to Ben Locks and Alex Massey for their wins at the Shelby County Cook-off on Friday. Alex won 2nd place in the Poultry division and Ben won 3rd place in the Dairy Dessert division. 
  • The MMS Ambassadors would like to thank everyone who helped make our recent Canned Food/Toiletry Drive for Shelby Emergency Assistance a huge success. Students donated over 406 items! Ambassadors will deliver these to the SEA office this week and will be planning free time in the gym for all those who won that privilege. Stay tuned for more announcements and thanks again.
