• “The Montevallo High School Band is launching an auxiliary training program for middle school students. If you would like to learn what it takes to be on the dance team, in the colorguard, or want to be a majorette come see Mr. Hodges or Mrs. DeRocher so that you can start practicing with the high school auxiliary and marching band. We would love for you to join us.”

• 6th grade students, please join the MHS Varsity Cheer Squad for 2022 Homecoming Youth Cheer Clinic Wednesday, September 7th  at the MHS Football stadium from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Cost is $10 to participate. 
• Congratulations to both lady dawgs teams for pulverizing the Jemison panthers last night in 2 straight sets.  Rosemery Hernandez and Shiko Thomas led the 8th grade with 9 out of 10 serves and Izzy Mendonca led the 7th grade team with a perfect 16 out of 16 serves.Way to go ladies. GO BULLDOGS!!!

• Congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams for their victories over West Minster last night both won in two straight sets.  Shiko Thomas led the 8th graders with 15 out of 15 serves and 7 were ACES and Rosemery Hernandez also served 8 out of 9.  Sarah Kate Lash also put down 3 kills.  Madison Amell led the 7th graders with 13 out of 15 with Evelyn Smith serving a perfect 9 out of 9 and 6 of those were ACES.  The girls play HOME next Tuesday vs. Jemison.  GO BULLDOGS!!!
