*Congratulations to the following students who won the FCCLA cook Off-Kobe Cottingham in the Beef Category , Kelsey Nelson in the Dairy Dessert Category, and Hannah Locks in the Poultry Category.  Thanks to everyone who participated.  The entries were all delicious and it was a tough decision to decide the winners.

*Congratulations to the JUNA Team. Their resolution passed the committee meetings and the General Assembly with a 39 to 8 vote. The Team won the Outstanding Presentation Award and Olivia Gilbert won the Erin McPherson Award. They represented the country of Turkey.

*Congratulations to the students of the week: TaDarrius Conner and Kial Cottingham. They were nominated by Mrs. Lewis. They exhibited the character trait of service. Both boys volunteered to sweep the entire cafeteria after break last Friday.

*Congrats to Baylen Key for placing 1st individual trophy at the MLK Scholstic chess tournament held at Pelham Park Middle School yesterday! Baylen won all of his 5 rounds of chess including middle and high school students from around the state. Way to go Baylen!

*There will be no school on Monday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

*Students planning on going on the physical field trip must bring back your physical form filled out and signed by a parent ASAP.  Even if you have not turned in the money, we need the physical form back today.  The trainer will be here today for for girls to do preliminary screenings.  See Coach Jett or Coach Horton with any questions. The cost of the field trip is $10.00.
