Announcements:
* 8th grade will test Monday and Tuesday. There will be no cell phones, smart watches, or other electronic allowed in the testing rooms. Students not testing will need to be quiet in the hallways during passing periods, get their books for the first three periods, and there will be no bells in the morning.
*Congratulations to Evan Zou and Taylor Edwards. They were recognized at the Shelby County Career and Technical Educational Awards Banquet. Evan represented FBLA and Taylor represented FCCLA.
*Attention all students. MMS is having a talent show this year and if you want to be a part of it, you must audition. There is a sign-up sheet for the MMS Talent Show Auditions posted outside the Band/Choir Room door. Auditions will be on Friday, April 22nd all day in the Band/Choir Room. You must pay $5 per person to audition on April 22nd. Groups must sign up each member. We are looking for all talent! (Singing, Dancing, Poetry, Art displays, Plays, Skits, Instrument playing etc)
*High School Basketball tryouts for current 8th grade boys will be on Monday, April 25th and Tuesday, April 26th after school until 5:30pm at the MHS gym. Sign up on Coach Horton’s door and get a tryout packet.
*Middle School Boys basketball tryouts will be held Thursday, April 21st and Friday, April 22nd after school until 5:30pm at the MHS gym. Sign up on Coach Horton’s door and get a tryout packet.
*Congratulations to the student of the week for this week: Janie Gray. Janie Gray. She was nominated by Ms. Stevenson. Ms. Stevenson stated that Janie is consistently supportive of other students, is conscientious in her schoolwork, and an overall a good role model for MMS students.
