*Announcements:

 *There will be no school this Friday or next Monday.

*8th Graders: If you did not turn in your blue sheet to Mrs. Allen on Friday, please get them to Mrs. Lusco asap.

*Today is the last day for archery members to get their $10 and registration form in to Coach Jett to compete in the tournament next month.

*The Valentine’s Day Dance will be on Thursday, February 14th. The cost is $5.00. The PTO will be taking Pre Orders for flowers and candy grams through during lunch. Flowers will be $2.00 each and Candy Grams will be $1.00 each

*There is a  Mandatory Parent meeting for any Middle School Cheerleader trying out for the 2019-20 school year. The meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, February 12th,  at 5:30 in the MMS lunchroom.

*There is a Mandatory Parent Meeting for any 8th grade student trying out for High School Cheerleading on February, 20th  at 6pm in the PAC at MHS. The meeting for tonight was cancelled.

*Track practice will begin today after school and last until 4:30.  There will be a mandatory parent meeting after practice tonight.

*Keep turning in your candy money.

*Wednesday selected 8th graders will take the NAEP test in Mrs. Huckabaa’s room. Students please be quiet between classes walking by her room. They will be testing from 8-10 and 12-2.

*Congratulations to the 7th grade Scholar’s Bowl team who placed third in the County Tournament on Friday.  Emilyano Hernandez placed second out of all of the schools in 7th grade.   Congratulations to Hannah Locks for being the highest scorer for the 8th grade Scholars Bowl Team.

* FCCLA Cook-off Reminder: All FCCLA members wishing to participate in the 2019 Shelby County Cook-off must turn their written recipe in to Mrs. Day by today. If you do not turn in a recipe – you will be disqualified from participating this year. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Day.

*Yearbooks are on sale today for $30.00

*The Scholastic Book Fair ends today.

*8th Graders: You must turn in your signed course selection form to Mrs. Allen today. You will see her during Mr. Weeks classes.
