*This Friday will be COTS.
*If you are attending the Write in the Middle conference with Ms. Long, money is due to her by Thursday, January 28. Please see Ms. Long if you have any questions.
*There will be a Mandatory parent meeting February 12th at 6 PM in the PAC at the High School for any 8th grade girl interested in cheerleading next year. You will pick up your packets that night.
*Archery members that have not received a packet for registration need to see Coach Jett ASAP, so the team can register for the regional tournament.
*Any 6th or 7th grade girl that is interested in Monday and Wednesday work-outs needs to turn in permission to Coach Jett before staying after school. We will begin work-outs on Monday, Feb. 1st. See Coach Jett for the form.
*Soccer practice is cancelled for today. If you missed practice yesterday, go see Coach Thomas for a handout.
*Any 8th grader interested in trying out for color guard, dance line, or majorette as part of the 2016 Montevallo Marching Troubadours needs to see Mr. Lawley to receive an informational packet. There is a mandatory parent meeting about tryouts on February 11 at 6:00 p.m. in the Montevallo High School band room
*There will be an informational night at Montevallo High School for all 8th graders and their parents on February 9th at 6pm in the Performing Arts Center.
*Literary magazine submissions are due to Ms. Moore or your ELA teacher by Friday
*The next Student Institute Field Trip is this Friday January 29th. Students participating should check with their teachers for any make up work that they made need to complete. Report to first period on Friday and wait to be called. You will not need to bring a lunch.
*Wish the wrestling team good luck today against MCAdory.
