*COTS will be tomorrow.  If you do not have all of your schoolwork done, you will not be allowed to attend COTS and will attend intervention COTS instead.

*The LOT students will be on a field trip today.

The Scholastic Book Fair is next week.  You will come to the bookfair on Monday, Oct. 3rd with your ELA teacher.  This isn’t a preview day, we are actually selling books beginning on Monday.  Then, Tuesday through Friday, you may come back to the library when your ELA Teacher gives you permission.   You must show them your cash or a check made out to Montevallo Middle before they let you come to the library.

You will be shown a preview video in your 4th period class some day this week.   You will also get a flier on Friday for you to take home to your parent or guardian.  You may circle the books you’re interested in to determine how much money to bring. See you at the book fair!

*Volleyball will have home games tonight at 5 and 6.  You may attend free if you bring two canned goods and are with a paying adult.

*All student council members need to meet with Mr. Weeks tomorrow morning after announcements.

*There will be no school on Monday, October 10th but the Montevallo Teen Center will be open that day.

* Tuesday will be Pink Out Day where you will wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  We will have a home football game that night at 6pm.

Thrilling Thursday
