NO SCHOOL TODAY

Happy Birthday: Today to Emily Lint. Tomorrow to Kobe Prentice and Sunday to Lydia Bass.

*Announcements:

*There will be a mandatory parent meeting for anyone interested in cheerleading try-outs on Monday, March 13 at 5:30 PM in Mrs. Bishop’s room.  Please see Mrs. Bishop if you have any questions.

*Hoops for Heart will be on Monday, March 13^th.

* Today is the last day of the 9 weeks so make sure that you get all of your make up work completed and turned in.

*Today there will be a tennis match against Eastwood Middle at 4pm and Soccer has a home game against Rudd Middle at 6pm.  The baseball team will be in Columbiana.  This weekend softball has a tournament at McAdory and Soccer has a game on Saturday at Pratville Christian.

*There will be no school tomorrow due to a teacher workday. Teacher’s don’t forget your items for the Spring Social.

*LOT members don’t forget the field trip after school Monday and the City Council Meeting Monday night.

*Congratulations to Campbell Cost for being chosen as Athlete of the Month

*Congratulations to the student of the week:  Karen Negrete.  She was nominated by Mrs. Harding.  Mrs. Harding states that Karen is an excellent student who is conscientious about her schoolwork and is always willing to lend a helping hand to the teacher and her classmates.  She exemplifies many of the character traits including respect, responsibility, cooperation, and diligence.

*The final Student Institute field trip is tomorrow.  SGA members will meet in Mr. Week’s room tomorrow morning at the beginning of 1^st period.  Students remember to get any make up work from your teachers for Friday.

*Today there is a Tennis Match against Helena at UM at 4pm.There is a Baseball game in Clanton at 4pm.

*Tomorrow we will be on break schedule.
