*This Friday will be COTS.
*There will be a parent night for Hispanic students tonight at 5:30pm in the MMS Library. The program will be in Spanish so please encourage your parents to attend.
*There is a Mandatory Parent Meeting for any 8th grade student trying out for High School Cheerleading tonight at 6pm in the PAC at MHS.
*The MMS student institute will meet tomorrow morning.
*Soccer has its first home game against Pelham tomorrow.
*Tryouts for Majorettes, Danceline, and Cologuard for current 8th grade students is Feb 25th-March 1st. The applications are in the front office with Mrs. Snyder. There will be a clinic on Feb 21st and Feb 22nd for a cost of $50. There will be a parent interest meeting on February 19th at 6pm at MHS. If you want to hang out with the dance and colorguard to see if you want to join the program, come by the practice Feb 19th from 3:15-4:15. Contact Dawn Cabrera at MHS with more information.
*Any 8th grade girl interested in the Girl’s Can Construction Camp, please come and get a registration form from the front office. This year’s camp is scheduled for June 10th-14th from 8:30am to 3:00pm each day and will be held at the Career and Technical Educational Center in Columbiana. This is a one-of-a-kind learning experience and is designed to be challenging, yet fun! The application deadline is April 19th.
* Any girl who signed up for cheerleading and did not attend the parent meeting to see Mrs. Campbell for packet. Cheer packet must be turned in no later than Wednesday February 27th. If the packet is not turned in, then you will not be able to try-out.
*This Saturday is the Teaming Up for Montevallo Athletics at 1pm. The basketball game begins at 2pm. There will be a silent auction, T Shirts for sale, photo booths, and pizza for sale.
*Yearbooks are on sale today for $30.00
*Keep turning in your candy money.
