Hispanic Heritage Month Fact- Born on December. 23, 1979, Scott Gomez, is an Alaska native and only Hispanic National Hockey League 1st-round draft pick. (27th selection in 1998); Scott G scored 70 points in 2000 to win the Calder Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year; won Stanley Cup with New Jersey Devils in 2000.
- Thursday October 20th is Pink Out Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Our Football team is also scheduled to play Jemison Middle on this day.
- Friday October 16th: Please wear your Sombrero for Hispanic Heritage Month Hat Day, the cost is $1
- Wrestling practices will begin on Monday, October 19th. You must have all your information in Dragonfly. If you have not spoken with Coach Taylor about practice, please see him before Monday.
- Girls soccer tryouts are tomorrow and Friday. Boys tryouts will be October 20 & 22. Please see Ms. Martinez if you have any questions.
