- Hispanic Heritage Fact of the Day- How does a computer know if you are a human or not? Thanks to the CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). The system was invented by a Guatemalan professor Luis von Ahn, who is also considered the inventor of crowdsourcing. He co-founded Duolingo as well.
- Students please remember to bring your Chromebooks to school everyday, charged and ready for learning.
- We will have a wrestling meeting next Tuesday, Oct 5th in Coach Taylor’s class at 5:30. Any 7th or 8th grader that is thinking about wrestling this year needs to come to the meeting or see Coach Taylor. We are trying to have a girl’s team also.
- If you are interested in trying out for soccer, please sign up in PE. Tryouts for girls will be on 12 and 13. Tryouts for boys will be the 14 and 15. If you have any questions please ask Ms.Martinez or Ms.Derocher. DRAGONFLY MUST BE DONE BEFORE TRYOUTS.
