Black History Fact for Today: After years of remarkable work as an attorney, Thurgood Marshall became the first African American to serve in the U.S. Supreme Court. Officially nominated by President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1967, he served as a justice until 1991.
- Reminder, bells will be turned off today and for the remainder of the week due to ACCESS Testing

- Pageant Day is March 18th! Anyone interested in participating in the Montevallo Day of Pageants, forms are now available; forms are due by February 22 …See Mrs. Johnson in the choir room.
- Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders!! Please Join the MMS coding club. The interest meeting and practice will be held after school today from 3-4 pm. Make sure you have a ride at 4 pm. See Ms. T. Jackson for any Questions.
- High School Cheer Tryouts are March 10-13 for 8th grade students who are interested in cheering in high school. Mandatory Parent Meeting is March 1st @ 6:00PM. Packets are in the office.
