Announcements:
*Friday will be break schedule so make sure that you do not have any tardies or silent lunches.
*Thursday will be pajama day in support of the soccer team. There will be soccer practice today until 4:30pm.
*Any 8th grader interested in trying out for color guard, dance line, or majorette as part of the 2016 Montevallo Marching Troubadours needs to see Mr. Lawley to receive an informational packet. There is a mandatory parent meeting about tryouts on February 11 at 6:00 p.m. in the Montevallo High School band room
*There will be an informational night at Montevallo High School for all 8th graders and their parents on February 9th at 6pm in the Performing Arts Center.
*The Montevallo Day of Pageants will be held on February 6th in the Performing Arts Center at MHS. The registration packets are now in the office for pick up and are due on Friday, January 29th.
*Please keep bringing in box tops. For every 10 that you bring in, you will receive two tardy to class passes.
*Literary magazine submissions are due to Ms. Moore or your ELA teacher by the end of January.
Congratulations to the athletes of the month for the first semester. This makes them eligible for athlete of the year. August – Bella Fancher September – Wilson Massey October – Chaniya Reed November – Ariel Suarez December – Zakia McMillan.
