*African American History Spotlight for the Day: Did you know that Langston Hughes was a Poet, Essayist, Novelist, Playwright, Journalist, & Lyricist in the early 1900’s.  He is Sometimes called the Father of the Harlem Renaissance for his vivid portrayals of African American life in the early 20th century.

  • Happy Birthday: Dylan Snider and Saturday to Xavier Bryant
  • Announcements:

 *Any 8th graders who did not turn in their high school registration packets to Ms. Allen need to bring them to Ms. Fenn as soon as possible.

*Today we will be on break schedule. Check with your teachers about the no break list.

*There is a mandatory parent meeting for those interested in MMS cheerleading on Monday, February 22 at 5:00 PM in the media center.  Registration packets will be available for pick-up that night

*The baseball game against Thorsby has been cancelled for today.

* If you need an application packet to the new Teen Center, they are in the front office
