*The Bulldogs will play at Leeds tonight in Round 2 of the play-offs. You may purchase tickets to the game in the main office TODAY or on-line…cost is $8.00.
*Whoās Who & Class Favorites must have a permission form signed by your parents in order to have pictures made next week. Please see Mrs. Adams.
*Students, remember to get your forms signed for you November Community Service hours. The November service hours are due December 2nd. You MUST turn in your āGive Me Fiveā hours for your grade to your history teacher in order for your November hours to count for prizes.
*Attention Students: The Stand Up Program is hosting a talent show on Dec. 19. If you or your group are interested in performing, please see Ms. Allen for an entry packet. The deadline to apply for entering the show is Dec. 15.
*Juniors: Some of you will receive Blueprints field trip forms this week. Please know that your completed forms must be returned to Ms. Allen by Mon., Nov. 16 ā No Exceptions.
*Are you a student interested in attending the University of Alabama? If so, plan to take part in the āUA ASAPā presentation that will take place on Nov. 16 at the North Shelby Library at 6:15 p.m. This workshop will give insight on the UA admissions process, financial aid, and housing.
*Attention Students: The Shelby County College & Career Center will host a Career Expo on Nov. 19 from 5:30-7:00. Col-lege and Industry representatives will be on hand to speak with students and parents. There will also be free food!
*The Battle of the Books selection test will be December 9th , less than a month away. If youād like to try-out for the team, be sure to finish reading the books by December 9th. They will be great reads over the Thanksgiving break!
*Would you like to be a part of the Scholarsā Bowl team this year and compete against all of the other high schools in our county this spring? The try-out test will be given in the library Monday during 7th period. See Mrs. Glover or Mr. Lawley if you have any questions.
*Come enjoy a creepy, yet humorous evening of theatre on Tuesday, Nov. 17 as the Theatre I class and the MHS Moon-light Players present two short plays focusing on the Father of the Short Story, Edgar Allan Poe. Theatre I will present Nevermore: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe adapted by our own Mrs. Howard, and the Moon-light Players will perform Poe-Dunked. Come see what life would be like for Poe if he worked at Taco Bell, ate at the Waffle House, or tried to sell a movie to Hollywood producers. Please support theatre at MHS by attending this event on Tuesday, Nov. 17. Tickets will $5 at the door.
