Shelby County Youth Leadership will be sponsoring pajama day on Monday Dec. 10. Proceeds will go to the Kits for Kids which supplies backpacks filled with necessities for children in the foster system. Tickets will be sold today during lunch for $2.00. Dress code still applies.

Montevallo Schools would like to thank the Shelby County Education Foundation for the $5,000 grant! The grant was written so that Montevallo Elementary, Middle and High Schools could purchase BreakoutEDU kits. These tools and games will be used to engage students in their learning, teamwork, and problem-solving. Teachers and students school-wide, in all 3 of our community schools, will have opportunities to cultivate skills to succeed in all subject areas. We are so excited to get these BreakoutEDU boxes with the subscription to over 700 games/lessons! Thank you Shelby County Education Foundation!

Attention Seniors: It is almost time to order diplomas, and your name will be printed according to how it is indicated in our school records. However, if you would like to submit an edit to the spelling or presentation of your name, you must submit a Graduation Name Card to Ms. Allen by Dec. 14. Cards can be picked up in the Guidance Office.

Please help our fellow students still recovering in Panama City from Hurricane Michael by bringing money to your LEAD class TOMORROW to help buy Christmas presents. If everyone brings even just $2 we can help a lot of people! The LEAD class that raises the most money will get special hot chocolate and snacks during their LEAD meeting in January. The GRADE level that raises the most money will get a pajama day in
