There will be a Students Institute Field Trip on Friday, December 2 for all participants in that program. Dress casually, there is no cost, and lunch will be provided. Peer Helpers and friends will be sponsoring a service project to help My Sister’s Place, Inc., a residential program for women located here in Montevallo. We will be collecting toiletry items from Tues Nov 29 through Thursday Dec 8th to put in Holiday gift bags for the residents. Collection boxes are located History Classes and in the office, and some of the History teachers have agreed to give bonus points for items brought in . Please Donate! Here is a list of some items we will need: toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, brushes, combs, shavers, nail clippers, tweezers, deodorant, scented lotions, scented body wash, scented body sprays, loofah or body sponges, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, face wash moisturizer.
