Gently Used, not new for the Alabama Children’s Home to give to children that arrive at the center with nothing to put their belongings into. Also, we are excepting can food for the Shelby Emergency. Seniors: The Ora Jones Foundation has scholarships available to deserving students that hold a minimum 2.5 GPA. Application information can be found on Ms. Allen’s blog or you can visit orajonesfoundation.org. The deadline is April 30.
Attention Students: Are you gifted in the areas of music, dance, spoken word, or art? If so, you could be a contestant in the High School Talent Hunt sponsored by the Beta Mu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The Talent Hunt will be held at MHS on April 29 at 1 p.m. and admission is free! Check Ms. Allen’s blog for contestant registration information.
