Sophomores:
The University of Alabama will hold its Capstone Leadership Academy in March and MHS can select two outstanding sophomore leaders for participation consideration. You must have a 3.0 minimum GPA and an essay will be part of the selection process. See Ms. Allen if you are interested in being considered.
Field Trip Permission forms to the Shelby County College & Career Center are due to Ms. Allen by 2:00 tomorrow. Late forms will not be accepted. The trip is Oct. 17.
Freshman:
Scoliosis Screening– Oct. 18, 2013 for all 9th graders
This is the last call to pay to play volleyball today. Please see Mrs. Nunn after announcements.
All Students:
Sign up deadline or the PSAT is tomorrow. There is a $15 fee for the test and space will be limited. Please see Ms. Allen if interested.

I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
