Congratulations to Mrs. Pastor for being selected Teacher of the Year for Montevallo High School!

Seniors:
Announcement orders are due to Campus Recognition by Friday. After this date, no forms will be accepted
Please turn in your baby pictures to Ms. Ham today.
Fundraiser orders & money are due to Mrs. Eades no later than Wednesday, October 30, 2013. If you need a
packet, see Ms. Majors in the front office. Senior night will be Thursday, October 31st .
Senior Football and Volleyball players, Cheerleaders, Band Members, and Water Girls will be honored during the
pregame festivities. Seniors who are being honored need to have your forms to Mrs. Eades TODAY.
Juniors and Seniors:
A representative from the University of West Alabama will be on campus this Thursday at 1:30. We will be on an activity
schedule, so please note that this will not be the normal 7th period time. Interested students should sign up in the
Guidance Office.
A representative from the University of Alabama –Huntsville will be on campus this Friday during 7th period in the library.
Interested students should sign up in the Guidance Office.
All Students:
**FBLA is now selling doughnuts. $5.00 per dozen. See any FBLA member to order.
**Congratulations to Kenneth McCutcheon…winner of the free class ring from Josten’s!
Powder Puff Game Friday Night @ 6:00 pm. Practice: Tues. & Wed. @ 5:00 pm at the football field.
STAND is participating in the Out of the Darkness Walk this Sunday at Heardmont Park at 1:30. The walk is an effort
to raise suicide awareness and all MHS students are invited to join the team. Please see Ms. Allen if you are interested
in participating in the walk.
Last call for Ghoulish Writing Contest. All submissions should be turned in to English teachers or Mrs. D’Alessio today.
Winners announced tomorrow.
Anyone interested in trying out for soccer needs to come by Mr. Galloway’s classroom to pick up a try out packet.

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
