* One week from today begins our MHS Career Conference! Just like Thanksgiving Week last year, we will have a 2 day conference instead of regular classes. Monday will focus on how to become a great employee, with fun interactive sessions and special speakers on various topics. Session titles include: Know Yourself, Team Player, Stay Classy, Above & Beyond, and Wow Factor. Tuesday will be a half day Career Conference with a variety of speakers from different professions ranging from sculpting to forensic science. Also, on Tuesday afternoon, there will be a special treat for all of our
students before we all leave for the Thanksgiving holidays.

As you may already know, the AL State Dept. of Education has decided that you no longer have to pass the Alabama High School Graduation Exam in order to graduate. However, the test will still be offered for any senior who wishes to
continue to test. Please let Ms. Allen know if you feel you need to continue to test.
