Would you like $60,000 to help toward your education at an Alabama college? If so, you are encouraged to apply for a Smith Foundation Scholarship. Juniors and Seniors: MHS will have two college visits TODAY. A representative from the Univ. of Alabama- Huntsville will be available during lunch waves. In addition, a representative from the Univ. of West Florida will be in the library during 7th period. Students interested in UWF should sign up in the Guidance Of-fice. Please take advantage of these and other college visits this fall.
Students: The PSAT will be administered on Oct. 15, and it is now time to sign up. The PSAT helps students assess their academic skills and provides valuable feedback that helps with your college planning. For jun-iors, it also serves as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The test fee is $15, and interested students should sign up with Ms. Allen by Oct. 9. Space is limited!
