Battle of the Books books are available in the library for anyone interested in reading and trying out for the team
October 20-23 will be the Student vs. Teacher Dodge ball games in honor of Sen-ior Night. Please see Ms. Jones (Room 109) about signing up for this event. Don’t miss the opportunity to beat your “favorite” teachers.
Participation is $5. Admission is $2.
School pictures have been changed to Oct. 23. Class Favorites & Who’s Who will be taken that day as well.
Student Vs. Teacher Dodge Ball game is Next week on Monday and Tuesday. Please see a cheerleader or Ms. Jones to register. Tickets will be sold during lunch.
Congratulations to the Marching Troubadours for earning ALL Superior ratings at the Mud Creek Marching Festival at Hanceville High School this past Saturday!
Teachers and Students: Be reminded that there are no Blueprints or Big Brother Big Sister activities this week.
Juniors and Seniors: A representative from the University of South Alabama will be on campus this Thursday, Oct. 16 during 7th period in the library. Interested stu-dents should sign up in the guidance office.
Teachers and Students: The PSAT will take place on Wed., and teachers have been emailed a list of testers. Testers will be called to the FACS classroom shortly after morning announcements.

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now. It's exciting to be working at the same school I went to many years ago.
