Softball is sponsoring a Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest. Entry fee is $2.00 and all entries must be in to Mrs. Gothard by next Thurs. morning. Winning pumpkins will be displayed & announced at the football game next Thursday night. There will be 1 winner for carving and 1 winner for decorating. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Thursday’s dress up day will be Halloween. There will be a pep rally that afternoon. Remember that dress code still remains in effect.
Juniors and Seniors: A representative from the Univ. of Montevallo will be on campus TODAY during 7th period in the library.
Sophomore Students: Be reminded that field trip forms for the college and career center tour are due to Ms. Allen TODAY.
Teachers and Students: This is just a reminder that Blueprints will meet on both Tuesday and Thursday during 7th period. Please support the program by ensuring student participation.
Juniors and Seniors: A representative from the Univ. of West AL will be on campus Wed during 7th
period in the library. Interested students should sign up in the Guidance Office.
Future Educators Meeting after school TODAY starting at 3:15
Ssr. ads for the football program will be included in this week’s program. Programs will be sold
during the football game.
MHS short sleeved Spirit Shirts are now on sale for $7.00 for all sizes. Please come by the main office to purchase.
Tennis Team has practice on Wednesday from 3-5. Need information OR want to join the tennis team – please see Mrs. Hipps or Mrs. Glover. We need players! We need YOU!”

I am a alumni of Montevallo High and the University of Montevallo. I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now. It's exciting to be working at the same school I went to many years ago.
