Seniors: There will be a senior meeting today during 4th period in the PAC. Students should report to class and wait to be called.

Football Banquet Thursday Night Jan. 8 in the PAC. All FB players need to see Coach Zow during lunch.

Attention AP English Students:   There will be a mandatory mock exam held this Sat., Jan. 10 at MHS for any student enrolled in AP Language or Literature. Your teachers will give more detailed info in class.

Students:  MHS will administer the ASVAB test on Thurs., Jan. 22 for any interested students. The ASVAB is a great career assessment and it is also required for students considering a career in the military. Interested students in grades 10-12 should sign up with Ms. Allen by Jan. 16. Space is limited.

Montevallo’s first Womanless Beauty Pageant. Thursday, January 15 at 6:30 in the PAC.  Admission is $5.00. Entry fee is just $10.  All entry forms and fees are due by Monday, January 12.  See Ms. Turner or any MHS News student for entry forms.

MHS News will continue to sell Montevallo Spirit Jersey’s until January 15.  The cost is $45.  Orders are due to Ms. Turner at MHS by Thursday, January 15.  Jersey’s will be delivered by Friday, January 23.  Email jturner@shelbyed.k12.al.us for more information.

Citizenship & Leadership Group who met on Aug. 9 will meet this Friday in the library from 8-11:30.

Student PR Team will meet with Ms. Pritchett & Dr. Hester tomorrow during 4th period.

Tennis practice will start Monday. All paperwork is due to Mrs. Glover by this Friday. See her for any questions.

Mrs. Pastor needs to meet today with the following students from the Students Institute during 7th period: Porche Pearson, Sam Reese, Destyni Peoples, Aldo Silva, and Isabel Gallo

I have been a teacher at Montevallo Elementary for 10 years, a librarian at Creek View Elementary for 5 years and have been the librarian at Montevallo High School for several years now.
